New teams which will play in the new league will be auctioned in the future. While sign-ups for the first technical test will remain open until August 8th, EA and DICE revealed that the testing would accommodate a few thousand participants, though the exact number of players that will be invited was not disclosed. However, an open beta phase for Battlefield 2042 available to all players is planned to happen sometime in September 2021. Besides confirming the first beta test for Battlefield 2042, EA and DICE also revealed the minimum and recommended technical specifications needed for players to run it on their PC....

Titled Fault Line Episode 2: Good Effect On Target, this trailer brings us back to the rooftop seen briefly at the end of the original Battlefield 3 teaser trailer. Good effect on target doesn’t seem to quite cover the climactic ending to this trailer. What may not be obvious is that this trailer really showcases a good use of pacing by DICE to help increase tension before the big payoff....

Alan Kertz, Senior Gameplay Designer on Battlefield 3, heard fans’ concerns and took to Twitter to in an attempt to allay any fears gamers might have about the game’s balance. In a series of tweets, Kertz made it clear that he wanted the game “to feel as balanced as humanly possible.” He explained what this meant in regards to body armor and armor-piercing ammo by letting everyone know that there was no way to increase a player’s health, lower the damage they take from bullets, or increase the damage done....

So problematic have Battlefield 4’s server troubles and netcode issues been, that the game’s producer recently admitted that they’d ’lost player trust’. Meanwhile, discussion surrounding the next Battlefield release, Battlefield Hardline, has been dominated by fan concerns that BF4’s problems will affect its predecessor too. With such blows being dealt to Battlefield’s reputation, some of EA’s shareholders have taken issue. Arguing that they were misled by the publisher, some even took to the courts to get it sorted out and now we have an update on the legal proceedings....

In order to collect all the collectibles in Act 2 of Battletoads, players will have to take on some intense challenges. In stage 5, players will have to complete the level in a strict time limit, and stage 2 requires that players get all A-ranked fights. One of the collectibles in Stage 2 is inside of a vault, and players have to figure out a puzzle to break in....

In a game that featured four goals after the 82nd minute, two red cards and two penalties, substitute Kingsley Coman looked to have grabbed a winner for Bayern in the 90th before defender Tagliafico tapped in the equalizer five minutes into stoppage time. Robert Lewandowski scored twice for Bayern, including an equalizer for 2-2 in the 87th. “It was a great match, I want to congratulate both teams for reaching the next round,” Bayern coach Niko Kovac said....

Don’t doubt Ronaldo again! The Bundesliga champions will be bolstered for the 2017-18 campaign having already agreed moves for Hoffenheim duo Niklas Sule and Sebastian Rudy as well as securing a permanent move for Kingsley Coman at the end of his loan from Juventus. Bayern are believed to be interested in adding a striker to their ranks, but Hitzfeld does not think the club will sign a player who can rival Robert Lewandowski....
