How to Cook an Egg Dippy
In order to cook an Egg Dippy for Gus in this relaxing indie game, players will first have to unlock cooking. This can only be done in Highlake by completing the quest to get Julia some Sage from the Darkgrove. Complete her quest, and it will unlock the recipes for some basic cooking appliances in the Pawn Voyage store, as well as some recipes from Julia’s store. One of these will be the Egg Dippy:

Score: 3 Recipe: Boil 1x Egg, Roast 1x Bread with 2x Fuel.
Build a kitchen inside the Highlake Inn. Players will need to use the workbench’s build function in order to build or delete this room in Bear and Breakfast. Fit it up with everything that Hank can build for it; players will at least need a Level 1 Cast Iron Stove. This can be made with:
3x Copper Plates 3x Pinewood Planks
Thankfully, this level of stove doesn’t cost players any porcelain chunks, which can be hard to find. And the Cast Iron stove adds the ability to boil and roast.
Interact with the stove using the E key. Choose one Boil card, one Roast card, and one Fuel card. Drag them into the middle of the cooking section of the screen. Drag and drop one Egg into the Boil Card. Drag and drop one Bread into the Roast Card. Add Fuel to the Fuel card.
Where to Get Fuel in Bear and Breakfast
Fuel is found all over the place in Bear and Breakfast. These are special items; players cannot use Plywood, Pinewood, or Mahogany planks to replace this type of fuel. Look for a little red canister of propane next to a small pile of wood out in the world. Here are just some of the locations players can find them:
Purchase from Jax’s store in Winterberry. Purchase from Ipswitch’s store in A24 or Pinefall. Pick up just south of the bus stop in Pinefall. Pick up west of the Pinefall sign. Pick up just north of Barbara’s home in Pinefall. Pick up just north of the cabin in Pinefall. Pick up near the bus stop in Winterberry. Pick up just south of the bus stop in Highlake. Pick up just east of the bus stop in Whitestone Bay.
A good tip for Bear and Breakfast beginners is to make sure to always collect fuel whenever they see it. Fuel is expensive to buy; the developers have sped up the respawn rates for fuel, but getting as much as possible as often as possible is still a good idea.
Where to Get Eggs and Bread in Bear and Breakfast
In order to get eggs, bread, and other non-forageable items in this Animal Crossing-like relaxing sim game, Hank will need to save up his coins and purchase them from Ipswitch’s store in A24 or Pinefall. He offers several food items that can’t be gotten anywhere else.
