Where To Get Valuable Items in Bear and Breakfast

“Valuable items” are actually just garbage. Took the Raccoon, who is located in Timber Crossing north of Oliver’s buses, likes the trash that humans leave behind. That means he’s willing to do whatever it takes to bring humans back to the woods. So any trash that Hank picks up from the ground is counted toward his valuable item total.

Over the length of Bear and Breakfast, players will have loads of opportunities to pick up trash left behind by his B&B guests. Hank should check behind guests in every room of his properties, the bus stops, and empty buildings to find even more of this valuable garbage. But there is a faster way to collect these items when players are about halfway through the game.

Side Quest: Rat Ta To It in Bear and Breakfast

Fairly early in Bear and Breakfast, players will need to head to Blackmoss to save a young rat named Wade. Wade will show up again later on in Whitestone Bay when it is unlocked at the same time as the snowy location of Winterberry. Wade will be near the bus stop in the bay area. Chat with him, and he will request some French onion soup in a quest called Rat Ta To It.

In order to cook in Bear and Breakfast, players will need a kitchen, and the French onion soup recipe requires a level 2 kitchen. Here is the recipe:

French Onion Soup - Score 6 Slice - 1x Bread (requires level 2 Basic Cutting Board) Boil - 1x Onion Simmer - 1x Butter (requires level 2 Gas Range) Simmer - 1x Cheese (requires level 2 Gas Range) Fuel - 4

After making the soup for Wade, bring it back to him in Whitestone Bay. He will agree to work for Hank; players just need to set up a Wade’s Dump Cart in each of the locations and hire him out.

How to Hire Wade in Bear and Breakfast

First, build a Dump Cart in this relaxing video game. It takes 4 Iron Plates and 2 Plastic Boards. Place one of these Carts in each location. Head to the Resort Overview menu by interacting with the Front Desk at each location. Select the location. On the right side of the menu is a staffing section. Under Garbage, there will be a cute little picture of Wade. Hit the “Edit” button.

Click the “Turn On” button in the upper right-hand corner. Click “save changes” at the bottom of this menu. On average, Wade will charge about 400 coins a day per location, and players get to collect all the valuable items he picks up in this menu. So a good tip for new players of Bear and Breakfast is to always keep some coins in their inventory. Press “Collect” to pick up everything he’s gotten so far.
