Building in Bear and Breakfast

Buildings in the relaxing indie video game Bear and Breakfast have clear-cut specifications for how rooms must be laid out. They also have an outer structure that can’t usually be expanded. Therefore, it’s pretty important to understand how these rooms work together in order to get the very best layout for every single hotel that Hank has to manage.

Each bedroom needs to be at least 4x3. In buildings with other facilities, each bedroom must be in reach of the necessary facilities. When clicking on a non-bedroom room, a circle will appear around it. Any bedroom within the circle will be served by this room. This applies to bathrooms, bars, kitchens, and other non-bedroom rooms. Every hotel will have its own unique sets of buildable rooms, and each bedroom must overlap with each of the necessary facilities. By the time Hank is done, he will be rebuilding a whole video game city.

How to Delete Rooms in Bear and Breakfast

A great tip for beginners in Bear and Breakfast is to carefully plan the layout of every building before starting. But if Hank got in a little over his furry head and built rooms outside the range of a bathroom, or perhaps the kitchen is just in the wrong place for a good hotel layout, deleting and modifying rooms is refreshingly easy.

Click on the room that needs to be deleted or modified. A little box will appear on the right side of the screen. It will have room information and comfort scoring and will even state what the room needs to be livable at that location. At the bottom of this box, there will be a box for “Edit” and one for “Delete. "

Choosing edit will not allow players to delete the whole room. Choose the delete button, and the indie game Bear and Breakfast will refund all the in-game coins spent on building that room. It will also automatically put all the furniture and decorative items back into Hank’s inventory as long as he has space for everything.

After that, the area previously taken up by the room will be empty, the furniture will be in inventory, and players will be all set to rebuild. It’s a great way to redecorate any space, similar to how players might like to do in a Bear and Breakfast-like game like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

Bear and Breakfast is available for PC and is coming soon to Switch.
