Yadav, who was found guilty of age-fudging in U-19 tournaments, has been barred from participating in the next two domestic seasons.

According to the BCCI, Yadav provided them with a false birth certificate which indicated that his date of birth was December 12, 2001. However, in a certificate issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Yadav’s date of birth was shown to be June 10, 1996.

A senior Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) official confirmed the developments to PTI, saying:

Meanwhile, the BCCI sent out an email to the DDCA throwing light on proceedings and confirming that Yadav had obtained multiple birth certificates to gain an advantage in age-group tournaments.

The BCCI also confirmed that upon Yadav’s return, he will only be allowed to compete in senior tournaments.

Delhi cricket has had its fair share of controversy with respect to age-fudging, with cases still pending against the likes of Himmat Singh and Manjot Kalra.
