Live Rocket League Spring Series action was shown both on Saturday and on Sunday, May 9 and 10. It’s unclear how successful the broadcasts were for the BBC, nor if the BBC has decided to broadcast more Rocket League action in the near future. Though unfortunately, the European Rocket League Spring Series is now concluded and with it all four tournaments involved in the Spring Series.

The Rocket League Spring Series is a series of four regional tournaments for the world’s best Rocket League teams, though the BBC was presumably focused only on the European tournament. The Spring Series was announced to replace the Season 9 World Championship, which was canceled due to COVID-19. No future plans for more competitive Rocket League are confirmed at this time.
Hopefully, the Rocket League Spring Series was successful for the BBC and it will consider doing more esports in the future. Considering the state of the world, esports provides a great competitive alternative to traditional sports and can be done purely online.
Rocket League is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
