Gamescom 2011 brought us a lot of great new Battlefield 3 stuff, most notably, the first cooperative game footage and a great new multiplayer trailer featuring both jet and helicopter gameplay. While the gameplay side of the equation of BF3 looks great, the client side of things looks a little bleek. Battlefield 3 will be requiring PC gamers to run EA’s Origin service to play online and limiting Origin users to having one soldier (account) per game. Will that break each player’s gaming experience? Probably not, but it is one of those discouraging things and negative buzz we don’t like to see.

The Battlefield 3 soldier classes available to play have also been released and detailed, so it would be good to take a look at that list and see how each class will mesh with the equipment below.

Keep in mind that the list is VERY large, but it will list off every weapon, vehicle, equipment, and squad specialization (read: perks) for Battlefield 3. So with that in mind, take a look:

As you can see, there is a LOT of customization available to players for weapons, soldier build, and vehicles. Though, once the game comes out, the top ranked specializations and weapons will soon be discovered and everything else might just be discarded.

Battlefield 3 will have plenty of unlocks and ribbons to go along with the abundance of weapons, guaranteeing that many players will at least attempt to experience the vast array of inventory DICE will make available.

Battlefield 3 releases October 25, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
